Salary: Grade 6 £26,264-£29,541 / Grade 7 £32,267 – £36,298 per annum

We seek a Research Assistant (006362) and Research Associate (006363) to join an integrative programme on the role of microRNA in vascular biology and pathology. The project is funded by an ERC Advanced Grant to Professor Andrew Baker.

Successful candidates will have completed or submitted their PhD in the field of cardiovascular biology, mouse models of disease or RNA biology. You will have good interpersonal, writing and presenting skills and the ability to analyse and communicate information clearly. .

This post has funding available from 1 April 2014 for 3 years in the first instance.

Marie Curie Research Fellow

Salary£48,500 per annum pro rata, plus additional allowances dependant on individual circumstances

A postdoctoral Research Fellow is sought to work on a European Commission FP7-funded Industry Academia Partnering award (IAPP) and involves two other academic centres in Europe (Umea and Budapest) and two industrial partners (Leiden). The candidate will be based exclusively in Glasgow but has the opportunity to interact with these partners across Europe. The project is based on the development of novel adenovirus vectors for gene therapy and vaccination.
