Advertisement for NIDDK/NIH post-doctoral fellowship position
Post-doctoral fellowship positions are available starting immediately in the Diabetes, Endocrinology and Obesity Branch of the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), National Institutes of Health (NIH). Research will focus on elucidating the mechanisms of action in obesity and diabetes pathogenesis using genetically engineered mouse models. Candidates with a strong background in molecular biology, experience in neurobiology, pancreatic islet beta cell fields and familiarity with models of diabetes/obesity and/or neurobiology are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should have received their Ph.D. within the past three years and be eligible for an appropriate US visa, if necessary. A current C.V, a statement describing research interests and career goals, and three letters of reference should be sent to:
