The work involves the study of mitochondrial ABC transporters in mice and in tissue culture Required Qualifications M.D. or Ph.D. in a biological science major. Knowledge of basic molecular biology and chemistry is essential. Must be eligible for employment in teh U.S. and available for personal interviews. THE FOLLOWING FIELDS ARE USED FOR THE POSITION DESCRIPTION Duty (1) Description Conduct mentored research in the area of mitochondrial transporters, including lipid and cholesterol homeostasis, proteomics, and heavey metal toxicity. Perform data analysis, prepare data for presentations (oral and written), and write manuscripts and other reserach documents.
