3 year POST DOCTORAL and PhD POSITIONS IN EPIGENETICS, DYNAMICS OF RNA MODIFICATIONS and STEM CELL BIOLOGY

Two Post Doctoral Positions and one (or two) PhD positions are available at Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet (http://www.ous-research.no/), Oslo, Norway. These positions will commence in early 2014 and will run for 3 years. The Norwegian Research Council Stem Cell Program will support one project and the Norwegian Cancer Society will finance the other project. Our research focuses on identifying and describing dynamic DNA and RNA modifications. Primarily, we aim to identify the readers, writers and erasers of these modifications. Secondarily, we evaluate and attempt to understand the role of these factors in normal mammalian development and abnormal tumor development. Our group, and the other groups at our Institute, has 50% international doctoral students and post docs. We have first-rate research facilities with an excellent degree of interaction amongst students and PIs.
