The Chronobiology and Sleep Laboratory (CSL) at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore, is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to carry out research on the effects of light exposure and sleep deprivation on human physiology and cognitive performance. The research fellow will be responsible for developing and managing research projects in the CSL, supervising and training junior staff members, analyzing behavioral and physiologic data (cognitive testing and PSG data), and preparing reports and manuscripts. The fellow must have a strong track record of creativity and problem-solving, as evidenced by published work in peer-reviewed journals.
Requirements:
• PhD degree in the sciences or engineering
• Strong computer and/or analytical skills, experience with MatLab
• Experience analyzing bio-signals, e.g. EEG and ECG
• Previous experience in sleep or fatigue research
• Individuals with a background in the following areas: cognitive neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, and computer science
• Competitive applicants will have experience analyzing large data sets, with a solid background in statistics and different modeling approaches.
