美国犹他大学招聘肿瘤免疫学博士后研究员
Post Doctoral Fellow : Salt Lake City, UT, United States
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow for our tumor immunology research group at the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). Our group is focusing on the development of novel immunotherapies for patients with multiple myeloma and other malignancies using adoptive transfer of gene-modified T cells as well as tumor-specific and immunomodulatory monoclonal antibodies.
The fellow’s primary tasks will be the identification and cloning of tumor antigen-specific T cells (with a focus on cancer-testis antigens) using a variety of immunological methods including tetramer staining, ELISPOT, proliferation assays, and intracellular cytokine staining. In addition, the applicant will be responsible for the isolation of tumor-specific T cell receptor genes as well as the transduction of autologous lymphocytes with TCR and CAR constructs for adoptive T cell therapy.
The Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a National Cancer Institute-Designated Cancer Center, providing hope through research, education, and care. With over 1,400 employees and 170 faculty researchers, including HHMI and Damon Runyon Foundation Awardees, HCI maintained 200 clinical trials and over $57 million in grant funding in 2012. HCI is part of the University of Utah Health Care System, which was ranked in the top 10 by the University Healthcare Consortium for quality among all academic medical centers in the country for the third year in a row.
