The K.G. Jebsen Centre for Influenza Vaccine Research was founded in 2013 by funding from the Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Foundation, the University of Oslo (UiO), Oslo University Hospital (OUH), the University of Bergen UoB) and the Institute of Public Health (FHI). The Centre has been funded for 4 years, but may be extended to a second term. The Centre aims at conducting excellent research on the generation of novel influenza vaccines. The centre comprises four research groups, together forming a strong, dynamic and expansive research environment.
