A postdoctoral position is available to study various aspects of Host-Microbiome-Pathogen Interactions. A powerful experimental system, described in the job listing link below, allows multiple different aspects of the complex interactions between invading pathogens, resident microbiome and host in a natural host system using the mouse model, in which aspects of the host (i.e. microbiota and immune system) can be manipulated using gnotobiotic and engineered strains.
