Dr. Tiffany Horng at the Department of Genetics & Complex Diseases and Immunology & Infectious Diseases in Harvard School of Public Health is looking for an outstanding postdoctoral fellow. We have recently shown that metabolic signaling pathways can regulate macrophage activation, and aim to further elucidate metabolic control of macrophage activation and effector responses. In another line of investigation, we seek to pursue our studies of inflammasome biology, including activation, regulation, and effector functions.
Candidates should have a background in innate immunity, immunology, and or immunometabolism, and should be skilled in cell biology, molecular biology, and basic mouse work, as demonstrated in their publication record. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree and MUST be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident because of funding requirements.
