Postdoc in Lipid Cell Biology

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Associate Professor Daniel Wüstner, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark.

The selected candidate will synthesize fluorescent sterol probes and generate reconstituted lipoprotein particles, and follow their intracellular transport and metabolism by live-cell microscopy combined with mass spectrometry.

The candidate should have strong skills in organic synthesis and analytical chemistry, experience in fluorescence microscopy and good knowledge of cell biology.

The position is to be filled by 1 January 2015 and is limited to one year with no possibility for extension. The applicant will be enrolled at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark
