We are looking to recruit a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join a dynamic research group at the Mucosal Inflammation Program. The laboratory is located in Research Complex 2 on the spectacular University of Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. We focus on the role of the intestinal epithelium in homeostasis and during ongoing inflammation. Of particular interest is epithelial metabolism, the influence of the microbiota, and the impact of these pathways on intestinal homeostasis and inflammation. A Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in biomedical sciences (molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics) or similar experience is required. Expertise in cellular and molecular biology techniques is necessary and Experience in genetics/epigenetics is preferred.
