Postdoctoral Researcher Bioinformatics : Nijmegen, Netherlands 

As a postdoctoral researcher you will be part of the ambitious and forefront European project BLUEPRINT (www.blueprint-epigenome.eu/). This project focuses on the epigenomic analysis of primary human blood cell types from the haematopoietic stem cell to the various, fully differentiated cell types as well as leukemic cell epigenomes (see Saeed et al; Chen et al; Cheng et al, in Science Sept 26, 2014). You will be integrating data from leading epigenomic research including ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, DNAseI-seq, ATAC-seq, WGBS and Capture-HiC of different haematopoietic cell types. You will work independently as well as part of our team, collaborating closely with molecular biologists and bioinformaticians from other leading European BLUEPRINT teams.

Description

- PhD degree in Bioinformatics, or Molecular Biology with a strong affinity for Bioinformatics; - experience in NGS-based bioinformatic analysis; - a strong affinity with fundamental research related to human development and disease; - experience in the use of Unix/Linux operating systems Experience in Python and/or Perl; - motivated to perform cutting-edge research; - well-developed social and communication skills; - accurate and well-structured working style.
