新加坡国立大学脂类组学研究博士后职位
Postdoctoral Scientist Lipidomics : Singapore, Singapore
A position is available in the Singapore Lipidomics Incubator (SLING), a strategic, university-level program associated with the laboratory of Prof. Markus Wenk. SLING is a major, global magnet for collaborating parties in lipidomics—from academia to industry—delivering new technologies and intellectual capital. Our centre offers cutting-edge facilities and a diverse base of investigators and students, anchored at NUS, a leading, global university in Asia.
We are seeking a passionate scientist to join our international, multidisciplinary research group to work on lipids as important molecules for cellular integrity and function. The various lipidomic profiles for different mammalian cells in culture have been described over the past few years; however, few attempts have been made to systematically determine the changes that occur during different growth conditions. This project will address this unmet need, with particular attention on characterizing cells for protein/antibody expression and for vaccine production. The project will be carried out over two years.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry or chemistry, with solid experience in mass spectrometry.
• The ability to work independently and take a leading role on assigned projects under the supervision of the principal investigator
• Highly self-motivated, with a strong desire for career development.
• Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in proteomics, metabolomics or lipidomics.
