A post-doctoral position is immediately available in Dr Glitho’s research group, at CIISE, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. The group focuses on architectures and algorithms for applications and services provisioning. Our key industrial partners are lm Ericsson and CISCO systems. The candidate will research, design, and validate advanced architectures and algorithms for information centric networking (ICN) in Internet of Things (IoT) and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), with a focus on end-user applications and services provisioning. The requirements are as follows:

1. Recent PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related areas (with a dissertation in information centric networking - ICN or strongly related topics).

2. Hands-on experience in some of the following areas:

Information Centric Networking (ICN)

Application/service provisioning architectures

Cloud computing and network function virtualization (NFV)

Software Defined Networks (SDNs)

5G

3. Strong software design/implementation and prototyping skills

4. Strong algorithms design and implementation skills

4. Publications in high impact journals and well known conference proceedings
