Postdoctoral Research Position in Cancer Research : Augusta, GA, United States
Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University is now seeking to fill two postdoctoral research positions in cancer research. The successful candidates will work on NIH-funded projects, and study the regulation of p53 and cellular responses to DNA damage and metabolic stress using molecular biological and genomics approaches and genetically-engineered mouse models (Nat Commun 6: 6752, 2015; J Biol Chem 291: 10847, 2016; Oncogene 34: 4975, 2015). The candidate must have strong experience in molecular cloning, molecular biology, and cancer research. Experience with animals (particularly genetically-engineered mice) is a plus. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology or related fields, and should be highly motivated, independent, and have demonstrated productivity.
