加州大学河滨分校2018年博士后招聘(RNA生物学、生物化学与遗传学)
Dr. Weifeng Gu’s lab, located in the Department of Molecular, Cell and Systems Biology at UC Riverside, focuses on small noncoding RNA/RNAi-mediated gene regulation and antiviral response. We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc to examine how a highly conserved RNA phosphatase regulates genes and RNA viruses in C. elegans and other systems. This research involves RNA biogenesis, antivirus, gene regulation, innate immunity, developmental biology, genomics, RNAi, bioinformatics and cell biology.
The candidate is expected to have extensive knowledge and skills in RNA biology, biochemistry and genetics, with skills in bioinformatics and worm genetics as a plus. This position is funded by NIH and will support a postdoc for 4-5 years with a competitive salary and benefits. UCR is a great place for working and living.
