Position SummaryIndiana University School of Medicine-Fort Wayne is seeking a Assistant Research Professor to conduct multiple sclerosis, ischemic stroke and aging- related neuroinflammation research at Dr. Yen’s laboratory. The candidate should have skills in conducting experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) and transient middle cerebral artery occlusion animal models. In addition, the candidate should have experience with in vitro cell cultures, including microglia, dendritic cell and T cell cultures, and molecular biology assays including single-cell RNA sequencing, western blots, Q-PCR and flow cytometry. The candidate is also responsible for writing small grant proposals and overseeing postdoctoral fellows and research technicians in the lab. Basic QualificationsPhD in Immunology/Neuroimmunology or a related field. Qualifications and Experience 5 years of postdoctoral training in neuroinflammation research with solid skills in conducting EAE and ischemic stroke animal models.
