This role is for a Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) in Neuroscience who will be part of the new IBM Canada Research & Development Centre. In this role you will be working with researchers at Western University on a research project related to the real-time streaming analysis of networks derived from neuroimaging data (fMRI). The project will be conducted at, and lead by, Western University. 

The ideal applicant has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and/or Computer Science. Experience in neuroimaging (preferably fMRI) and network analysis of neuroimaging data is a strong asset. The applicant will be expected to operate as an independent scientist and have strong communication and collaboration skills. 

Key Responsibilities:
oversee the design of neuroimaging experiments and data collection 

perform scientific analysis of data derived from the experiments 

work with technical team members to advise on scientifically appropriate choices 

prepare papers, project deliverables and other report to communicate outcomes of the project. 

Required:
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related fields. 

Doctorate degree must have been received within the past 5 years

At least 1 year experience in Network analysis of neuroimaging data 

At least 1 year experience in Neuroimaging (preferably fMRI)
