丹麦技术大学个体纳米功能中心招聘博士后
Postdoc position available within the Center for Individual Nanoparticle Functionality at DTU Physics
A postdoc position is available at the Center for Individual Nanoparticle Functionality to work on the development of new catalysts for low temperature fuel cells.
CINF is located at the Department of Physics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). At CINF, there is a social, open and transparent scientific environment, where experiment and theory are carried out on an equal footing. The employee will be able to take full advantage of the broad expertise and large number of personnel working in this field of investigation at CINF.
The postdoc will focus on the synthesis, testing and characterisation of Pt-alloy catalysts for oxygen reduction. The catalysts will be synthesised using metalorganic chemical methods and sputter deposition. The postdoc will have full access to the wide arsenal of characterisation methods available in house in-house at CINF.
The work will constitute part of a wider project, entitled New Alloy Catalysts for the Oxygen Reduction Reaction in Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (NACORR). NACORR will be conducted at several institutions and private companies, apart from CINF, namely the Center for Atomic Scale Materials Design (also at DTU Physics), Stanford University, Chalmers University of Technology, IRD Fuel Cells and Danish Power Systems.
Qualifications
The successful candidates will have obtained a PhD in relation to the synthesis and/or testing of materials for electrochemical applications, ideally in relation to electrocatalysis. He/she should also be well-motivated, hardworking and willing and able to work as part of a team.
Salary and appointment terms
