爱尔兰都柏林大学慢性细菌性肠炎研究博士后职位
Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP) causes a chronic, granulomatous enteritis in cattle known as Johne’s disease (JD). This disease can cause significant economic losses via reduced milk yield, increased susceptibility to diseases such as mastitis, poor feed conversion and poor reproductive efficiency resulting in premature death or culling. These production losses make control of MAP an important issue for the Irish agricultural industry. This project will explore the potential of circulating miRNA to act as novel biomarkers for disease progression in JD. The post will involve the analysis of miRNA through RNAseq, bioinformatics, and targetted qPCR approaches.
