A) About Guohua oet
Shenzhen Guohua Optoelectronic Tech. Co., Ltd. (Guohua) is an innovative high-tech enterprise, which produces green optoelectronic materials and devices as its core products. Guohua is founded by Dr. Guofu Zhou and other team members, who are well-known experts in the optoelectronic field. The company's registered capital is 55 million RMB. Guohua has a number of internationally recognizable experts in the field of advanced optoelectronic materials and devices, who have served in globally well-known research institutions and the world's top 500 enterprises. There are 37 members in our R&D team. Among them 16 people with PhD degrees, 4 people with postdoctoral experience and 12 members are foreign experts.
At present, with the completion of the world's first G2.5 Electro-Fluidic (EFD) color video e-paper production line, and the successful introduction of the complete EFD display front panel technology based on the printed film technology, we have achieved the production of our 6-inch mother glass prototype line, and is preparing for the mass production. The Guohua EFD to be mass-produced enjoys the advantages of being low-dissipative, eye-friendly and flexible. It is about 80% compatible with LCD lines, including the ITO conductive glass, color filter, and cell making equipment etc. These related industries in Guangdong province, which have taken a leading position in the country, will benefit directly. E-paper will first be used in wearable electronics, digital cameras, vehicle displays, mobile phone, pads and other media. In particular, early generation LCD panel manufacturers who have lost their competitive edge will benefit. Our EFD color video e-paper display technology is at the forefront globally. We have already filed more than 100 patents. In order to accelerate industrialization, the daughter company of Guohua Optoelectronics, Guohua Star Advanced Equipment Tech. Co. Ltd. (GHS) is established recently. GHS's business focuses on displays, touch panels, display technologies, associated equipments, etc.
B) Who are we looking for
We are looking for worldwide candidates with doctorate degree in such as physics, chemistry, material science, nanotechnology, etc. Specifically, we are expecting candidates with research background such as Electrophoretic Display, Electrowetting, Microfluidics, Physicochemical Hydrodynamics, Electrochemistry, etc. In addition, research experience with Micro-/Nano- device fabrication, electrical transport measurement and modeling is a huge plus.
C) Other qualifications:
- · Good English and communication skills;
- · Capability of research independently;
- · Preferred to have experience with mathematical modeling methods/programming/softwares and tools.
D) Responsibilities:
- · Focus on theoretical investigation of microscopic Electrowetting/Hydrodynamic/Microfluidic and Electrical transport phenomenons inside the EFD device, and build bridge to macroscopic properties of the EFD device;
- · Conduct experiments (e.g., device fabrication and measurement) and interpret experimental results;
- · Write working reports regularly;
- · Join meetings/discussions.
E) Salary:
Minimum 220, 000 RMB (after tax) per year and extra bonus.
Very talented postdoc researchers will be assisted to apply for research funds/allowance of Shenzhen city, and/or Guangdong province, and/or Ministry of Education of the P. R. China.
